Hi guys!
Ever since this pandemic, I make it a point to follow a simple morning fitness regime to strengthen my mind, body and soul.
We all exercise, which is good for our body. We meditate, which is good for our soul. N we eat n drink healthy, which is good for our mind.
To remain fit , it is essential that we keep all these 3’s in check(Mind, Body and Soul, MBS). Even by doing little for each of it we can do wonders!
I am sure most of us are not following any kind of routine these days as we don’t have much to do and it all laziness sorrounding us!!! I understand it is not easy to stay at home that too in a LOCKDOWN state. But if we make our morning refreshing , it can become more easier for us to follow it.
I get up early in the morning, Drew the curtains for the outside greenery and let some sunlight in. I can see a beautifull small garden infront of my house, birds chirping outside my window……….its really relaxing . Then I Turn on my YouTube for 1 hr OM chanting meditation, sitting on floor with my legs crossed, facing towards the sun rising. It gives my soul a calming effect and then followed by some simple Yoga asanas. Finally, ending it with a morning sip. A sip of my Ayurvedic tea.
Most of us are in habit of having Bed teas. We all are also aware of green teas available in market these days. Most of us might have replaced their regular black teas with green teas as they say its healthier. But is your green tea really healthy or are we just drinking a BRAND?Is your morning tea a healthier sip?
MORNING SIP is not just about a cup of coffee or tea. It’s a first drink that you are feeding to your mind after working out for other essential 2’s and which helps you to regulate your thoughts for rest of the day.
For example , we all own a car and we all fuel it, right! N if we love our car more, we definitely make it a point to fuel it better and best both. By better I mean , we make sure we keep check on fueling an engine with right oil on regular intervals. We might also use speed petrol or diesel instead of normal petrol or diesel n so on.Do we fill just any engine oil in our car? Or do we make sure that it is good in quality and has all lubricants in right proportion? Here we do look for a brand but a tested one as we dont want to compromise on quality…..
Similarly, when we are having a morning sip which is a first fuel of the day to our mind, make sure you just do it right. Morning sip is a fuel to our mind which is a real controller of our whole body . we must not compromise with it. It has to be realy healthy. It has to be refreshing and calming.
Drinking green tea on an empty stomach in the morning can cause bad effects on the liver because of its high content of catechins.
Green tea has compounds called catechins, so the amount of green tea consumed must be controlled. The higher concentration of catechins can cause liver damage. Drink green tea in the morning around 10:00 to 11:00 am.
Therefore, I suggest replace your regular morning teas or MORNING SIP or BED T with Herbal T’s or Ayurvedic T’s or Wellness T’s.
Ayurvedic tea is almost always a blend of different ingredients, each having its own properties and working together to offer relaxation, enhanced immunity, detoxication, etc. Interestingly, Ayurveda doesn’t promote one herb for one problem. Instead, it uses a more personalised approach to decide which herb would have the most benefits for one person.Ayurvedic tea is usually caffeine free. They mostly exclude plants like guarana or yerba mate which contain caffeine, although not completely.
HERBAL T’s are not made from tea leaves but from a variety of plants, roots, and flowers. You can also find true tea blends which contain tea leaves mixed with herbal teas.Herbal teas (ones without any real tea leaves) only contain half a milligram of caffeine, so they will not give you that energy boost. Like true teas, they do have many health benefits, though the actual benefits differ greatly, depending on the type of tea.
Try Ayurvedic Detox T- a drink made with fresh turmeric root, ginger, and whole spices to help aid the liver, flush out toxins and restore balance in the body.
Benefits of Ayurvedic T’s are obviously enormous and include a whole range of benefits, including enhancing the quality of life. Each herb has its own benefits. For example, high blood pressure can also be treated with a blend of Ayurvedic herbs. Garlic, ashwagandha and cardamom may potentially be used for this problem.
Wellness blends or T’s are considered safe and target one of the following areas – stress-relief, detox, relaxation and focus. They are mostly created to target one dosha, like PITTA tea, or to offer general relaxation – like Shanti Herbal. KAPHA tea often contains ginger, VATA teas calming and relaxing herbs, while Pitta has cooling herbs and flowers.
NO. 3 CLIVE ROAD serves the best Ayurvedic blends in Delhi.
so, replace your morning sip or bed teas with right cup of tea.
hope it was knowledgeable and you will follow!!
