Hi guys
We will keep on talking about tea and coffee through my pages, but today I thought I would tell you a story. The REAL story about ME!!!
I was a total coffee person once upon a time. By saying the coffee person, I mean I needed coffee after every 2 hours….n whenever I had a headache I knew my coffee is just what I want!!! In other words, you can say, I was a coffee addict not so much, but ya a bit.
I never tasted tea in my life ever since childhood. in fact I didn’t knew how the tea tasted. I used to think tea is a drink of typical middle n lower-class families. I hated TEA. I actually hated it. If someone ever offered me the same, I use to say noooo, please…”I m not a tea person; I am a coffee person.”
One day I read about a workshop on a Facebook page which said tea and mangoes by Anandini Himalaya tea by great tea sommelier Anamika Singh!!!! this ad attracted me as I am fond of mangoes. n mangoes with tea were little surprising …moreover the advertisement looked pretty decent and a classy affair…. I finally decided to enroll…
So the day came when, for the first time, I went to explore TEA… it was a really excellent experience, that cup gave me a very sensual feeling. The first sip of that tea, I still remember it, it was very calming n I guess that is what completely changed my view on tea. The first time I realized, tea is not just a typical cup of tea. It is much more. In fact it’s a status symbol to have high teas. It was the very first store where I explored different infused teas. I eventually found my type of tea n that was rose tea; also, it was my first self bought tea for my house. I mean for myself. Ever since then, having tea is no more a typical low standard stuff for me. Infact, now I keep on exploring it n trust me it’s so vast that I still feel that I know nothing about it….but yes! Now tea is much more than just a black milk tea for me.
But that does’nt mean i left having Coffee. Coffee is still my favourite and will always remain one. but yes, now ,i have my tea also. that too with style, well infused tea with no milk. a classy cup of TEA.
